The Fastest-and
Easiest-Way To
Increase Your
Speed
Made of comfortable neoprene, Speed Trainers are designed to strengthen the hip flexors and upper quads (the part of the leg that actively lifts the legs during exercise.) Speed Trainer’s patented design consists of a comfortable waist belt that helps support variable weights, up to 3lbs. Per leg, in thigh wraps which are then attached to the fronts of the thighs (quads). Because Speed Trainers are placed directly on the quadriceps muscle-the largest muscle in the body-the chances for injury are far less likely.

The above graph shows an actual sprint of five
seconds and demonstrates how hard each leg is working.
Even though the sprint starts out with the thrusting leg working
harder than the recoiling leg, the recoiling leg reaches its maximum
operating limit first-shutting down the whole body’s ability to
accelerate, which dictates the runner’s maximum velocity. By
strengthening the body’s ability to recoil the leg while maintaining
the energy reserve in the thrusting leg, you allow the acceleration
process to last longer-which results in higher running velocity. Speed
Trainers work to improve the maximum operating limits of the recoiling
and thrusting leg-thus increasing acceleration abilities, speed and
endurance. |
It’s been proven that you can only run as fast as you can put your leg out in front of you. With Speed Trainers, you can use your legs faster than you ever thought possible. Note the way Speed Trainers concentrate on-and add resistance to-the recoiling leg.
